As the spring season ushers in renewal and fresh beginnings, Dongguan Jiurun Printing & Packaging Technology Co., Ltd. officially resumed operations on 24 February 2026 following the Chinese New Year holiday (13–23 February 2026). After a joyful reunion season spent with family, our team returned with renewed energy and confidence, ready to embrace the opportunities and challenges of the year ahead.
To mark the reopening, the company held a traditional “Kai Shi Da Ji” (Auspicious Opening) ceremony — a long-standing practice in Chinese commercial culture symbolising prosperity, renewal, and good fortune for the year to come. Traditionally observed on the eighth day of the first lunar month, known as the “Day of the Horse”, the date carries connotations of momentum, success, and forward progress. Combined with the welcoming of the God of Wealth and the auspicious meaning of smooth prosperity, the ceremony represents a powerful blessing for business growth and good fortune.

Welcoming Fortune with Red Couplets
Festive red couplets were placed at the company entrance bearing auspicious phrases:
“A Prosperous Opening, Success in All Endeavours”
“Business Flourishes Across the Seas, Wealth Flows from All Directions”
The vibrant red symbolises prosperity, protection, and good fortune, expressing our hopes for a thriving and successful year.
Firecrackers to Herald a New Beginning
At the auspicious hour of 9:00 a.m., firecrackers resounded throughout the factory grounds, filling the air with celebration and joy. In Chinese tradition, the sound of firecrackers dispels misfortune and welcomes prosperity. The thunderous echoes honoured the achievements of the past year while expressing our sincere wishes for vigorous growth and continued success in 2026. Amid the festive atmosphere, the Jiurun team stood united, energised, and ready to embark on a new journey.
Offering Prayers for Prosperity and Well-being
In a solemn and respectful ritual, offerings were presented to the God of Wealth, the Earth Deity, and industry forebears. Traditional offerings included meats, fresh fruits, and dumplings shaped like gold ingots, symbolising prosperity and unity. With gratitude and sincerity, we prayed for:
⚫️flourishing business and abundant opportunities,
⚫️increasing prosperity and loyal customers,
⚫️steady growth and financial success,
⚫️peace, safety, and harmony throughout the year.
This ritual reflects the Chinese cultural values of gratitude, respect, and aspiration for sustainable prosperity.
Red Envelopes to Share Good Fortune
To celebrate the reopening, the company presented each employee with a lucky red envelope containing RMB 100. As colleagues received their envelopes, smiles and warmth filled the room. More than a festive tradition, this gesture conveys appreciation, encouragement, and a shared sense of belonging — reinforcing the spirit of unity that defines the Jiurun family.
Setting Sail for a Promissing Year Ahead
The Kai Shi Da Ji ceremony is more than a ritual; it is a meaningful cultural tradition that strengthens unity, inspires confidence, and sets a positive tone for the year ahead.
